Camco Head Office and Warehouse

Client: Camco (SA)
Expected Completion: July 2022

Works have commenced on the construction of our new home at 75 Lewis Road Glynde (the site of our former depot). The building has been architecturally designed to provide an exciting, functional and “future” proof workspace to take Camco forward for the next 20 years. The site consists of approximately 330m2 of high level warehouse space, 250m2 of undercover carparking and 450m2 of office/amenities area built on a site of in excess of 1400m2.

The construction approach is pre-cast concrete tilt-up panels (architectural granite finish), integral structural steel, colourbond roofing, powder coated external aluminium double glazed windows, in-situ concrete ground and first floor slabs, detailed ply finished joinery and screening and operable workstations to allow for vertical or seated functionality.

The carpark and drainage system was designed to work sympathetically with the large river red gum in the front of the property. WSUD methods were introduced to allow the root protection zone to be trafficked whilst providing water and preventing soil compaction around the roots themselves.
